Scholars select the theme and the fashion for this unique half day event.  A professional photographer and makeup artist work to ensure the perfect shots!  Individual and group photographs are used to create the group or organization’s annual photo book.  Headshots are ready for college applications as well as internship and scholarship opportunities

This event triggers powerful (and such fun!!) engagement with women from a spectrum of career paths.  Scholars ask questions, get professional advice and initiate new relationships.  With as many professionals as Scholars in attendance, the Professional Speed Date sets the scene for  one-on-one interactions, and many new friendships!

Inspired by the #MeToo Movement, our M4 Workshop addresses the challenging topics facing women today. 

Our M4 Workshop provides a safe environment where subject matter experts lead small group discussions so Scholars can ask questions, be educated, and identify resources.  We've also chosen to include a few tips on “healthy relationships”.

Local sponsorship and overwhelming community support as allowed this event to become a powerful component in our annual program.

A LinkedIn expert directs our LinkedIn Workshop.  Scholars receive thoughtful critique as they develop their LinkedIn page and immediately create new, valuable connections. College recruiters, admissions officers and internship managers use LinkedIn to search for candidates with the talents they need for their team, their organization, their future.

At our Strengths Workshops, Scholars explore their most dominant talents.  “Talents are the ‘raw materials’ required for Strengths development.  The more dominant the talents, the greater the opportunity for Strength.” 

Scholars complete a Clifton Strengths Assessment that reveals their unique combination of talents.  Talents they will use in pursuit of academic achievement, personal goal setting, professional endeavors, and much more!

Individually, we may have some or many talents in common, but we use them differently - because we are different.  Knowing your talents gives you an incredible edge, developing your talents makes you exceptional, mastering your talents makes you unstoppable!

Industry professionals guide Scholars through strategy, design and creation of their own Vision Board. 

This “dream board” reflects academic, professional & long-term goals; strengths & struggles, desires & aspirations.  This collage of images and affirmations serves as a personal visual source of inspiration and motivation.
